President, one of the world’s largest office furniture manufacturers, is introducing bluetooth technology to its own offices to create what it describes as a 'seamless working environment'.The project is being conducted at the company’s Great Portland Street showroom in London.

President says it the first company to use this leading edge technology and software within its own structure. As part of the scheme the sales force will be equipped with Bluetooth enabled handheld computers and visitors to the offices will be able to access email and get online in a special, purpose-built area. Tony Barker, business development manager, says the company is pushing forward the concept of the high performance workplace. "We hope we are practicing what we are preaching. This wireless initiative is a natural progression for us in creating ‘The High Performance Bluetooth Workplace’ and alongside aspects such as health and safety and ergonomic integrity, demonstrates our commitment to innovation in business practice."
