Much Wenlock Accommodation

Whilst travelling back from a holiday in Scotland last summer, my husband and I decided to stop off in the Shropshire hills to get a final fix of nature’s countryside before returning to our suburban life.

We found a beautiful looking pub in Much Wenlock, called The Fox Inn which we instantly fell in love with. The Fox is the definition of a country pub; big log fireplace, exposed wooden beams, a real rustic feel about the place.

After a few drinks we decided to stay for dinner, and after a huge meal and several more drinks ended up staying the night in one of their beautifully designed and decorated rooms.

Each room has been individually designed by a local girl named Hannah, who has worked in styling photography for glossy magazines. She’s done a tremendous job with each room (we were able to pick from the empty ones!) having a completely different and unique feel.

Aside from the gorgeously decorated and comfortable rooms, a night at The Fox meant a few more hours in that beautiful building. The Fox dates back to the 17th century and is now listed as a Grade II building.
